suntan

日焼けを英語で表すとsunburnと思っていましたが、sunburnは、やけどするほどの危険を伴うほどの日焼けのようで、実際の日焼けはsuntanというようです。

まだまだ寒く日焼けを意識することはないですが、ジムの日焼けマシーンが稼働しているのを頻繁にみるようになりました。
いい感じで健康的に肌を焼くには、日焼けマシーンで一定期間に数回利用する必要かあるようで、ゴールデンウィークか？その先を目標に肌を焼いているようです。

日焼けマシーンを英語で表すと tanning bed　になるようです。やはり　tan　を使うようです。
burn　tan　　は、大きく違うようです。
今年の夏は、I got a suntan　と言えるよう、今は海に行ける身体を作るため筋トレを頑張ります。
